Situated on the Roseland Peninsula, St.Mawes is a delightful village with good beaches and facilities for a quiet holiday in an area of outstanding beauty.

The House

New Lodge enjoys superb views across the bay towards St. Mawes Castle and beyond to Pendennis castle which guards the entrance to Falmouth harbour. During the season, cruising yachts moor in the bay and the local sailing clubs race several times a week. Nearby local yachts and fishing boats moor along the mouth of the River Percuil. In the opposite direction you can observe the activity of St. Mawes harbour around which most of the shops can be found. The food shops are well provisioned and fresh bread is sold on the quayside, just a short walk from the house.

The house is situated on Tredenham Road, which separates New Lodge from the beach to which there is slipway access for dinghies and sail boards. Bathing and sailing are quite safe in the warm waters of the bay.
